It took some time to figure out of the issues as standard NC183 schematic doesn't apply. The unit is rack mount, as common in commercial and military applications. This NC183 is the Northern Radio version, hence NR after model number. It would look quite nice rack mounted or in a cabinet as the front panel is good shape.

Northern Radio was a specialized engineering firm that often modified other manufacturers radios for unique applications. This is a rather unusual National NC183. This NC183 is in working order. The chassis is a bit discolored from probably years of poor storage, but it works quite well, old paper caps and electrolytic capacitors have been replaced, several repairs were made to restore operation.

As a matter of fact, its quite rare. I'm not asking much for it other than the cost of replacement components.
