Details:

Although moderate in price, this little receiver incorporates features usually found more expensive model's. From a National catalog for the nc-57: to meet needs of many hams who have asked sensitive, first-rate band switching receiver in lower price bracket, complete with speaker and power supply one cabinet, company has developed brand new. My antenna consisted of only 10' wire so sensitivity was not great but I did get stations on all the low wave band too much interference to here hear anything those frequencies. The set measures 16.

Interior is clean and under the chassis work was done neatly. Misc minor chips and scratches on the rest of set. Still has the original bottom plate and it comes with a copy of manual.

Original paint on the cabinet is in pretty good condition. Excellent tone quality, sensitivity, selectivity and high signal-to-noise ratio afford a level of performance which will appreciated by any operator.

Heres a variation you don't see often. Little hum and good tone. The NC-57M was ac dc marine version of nc some light corrosion spots on top front panel but it still looks good.

All original knobs x 8. The set has been partially recapped by a previous owner and seems to work reasonably well.
