Perfect for restoration. There could be other issues with the unit that are yet to discovered. Shes a real beauty.
Estate item. The HRO-500 had some quirky synthesizer issues but once resolved they preformed beautifully. There was white noise in the headphones but unable to tune any stations.
I attached the unit to my vertical, added headphones and using a 12 volt source powered up radio. Super clean inside and out. Sold for parts or not working due to the age of unit.
All the controls are smooth. Much to my disappointment the phase lock light was lit solid. From the estate of a collector who had nice collection National receivers and transceiver.
