Details:

I installed new LED lamps which should last a very long time. This is a radio I have kept for while now, knowing its fault, but although like the radio, just can't keep them all. I bought it for a digital project that never came to fruition.

Its time for a new home. When I last used it, left it on and just turned down the volume when not in use. It has served me well on FM voice the local repeaters and simplex. Anderson Power Pole connector installed.

For this reason, its being listed as for parts or repair and priced accordingly. This came to me with no working back light. Its been a good rig, but I have gone to an all-commercial station. I've read online that this model uses the same power circuit as TM-281, which had a factory recall for issue; fix is well documented online, I just have no desire to delve into it at time.

I have owned this radio for almost 4 years. The last time I powered it up, seemed to have lost my memory settings, but the coin cell battery seems be working. I think its an issue in the power button, or circuit that follows, going to processor.
