Details:

Some minor scratches see photos. I don't know if it improved the sound but did keep dust out of cabinet. 2 ohm, 5 by 7 inch oval speaker that provides full sound. I had to remove it photograph the speaker.

There is a switch on the rear panel to select voice or fidelity response. The previous owner glued a cover to back of speaker that left contact glue residue see photos. The emblems and feet are very good see photos. Hallicrafters R-48 communications speaker - here is a very nice to go with your late-1950's, early-1960s receiver or transceiver such as the SC-111, SC-117 Sr note: this was companion that being offered in separate offer.
