When I turned it on, it lit up, and static was heard thru the speaker. 1940s Hallicrafters model 38 vintage ham radio receiver this is one heavy duty old girl with a metal case, and built the way things used to be built. As I spun the dial I heard wee, wee but I do not own an antenna to hear broadcasts.

This looks like a project to me so I have priced it as such. The case has a very handy, hinged, flip open top for easy access to the tubes. Rate is based on weight and distance.
