You are buying on a seldom seen Hallicrafters cr 3000 receiver in very good cosmetic condition. Left speaker played alone great,but with balance all the way to right speaker,that speaker sounded somewhat low and distorted. However,when adjusting balance control. Am broadcast band reception very good.

Tested with unit hooked to a wire antenna and 2 speakers. This is not noticeable in normal operation with balance centered. This is a 6 band superhero high fidelity with fm stereo multiplex and auxiliary inputs for phonograph cartridge and tape recorder. Radio is styled to look like a stereo receiver of the time,and covers am,fm and shortwave bands.

Le appears to be working,but heard no stations same around 4 MC,seems to be working but heard no stations. Frequency coverage Le CBC JCS 1 MSW 2 m cfm MC tested shortwave and copied foreign broadcast fine around 15 MC and also heard 40 meter am around 7 MC. Fm stereo reception sounds great with 2 speakers.
