I purchased this from a yet another honest ham who assured me the set was in good working order. Shipping costs quoted are for the lower 48 states only. Well that is not the case.

The radio powers on and I hear static but it does not receive or transmit. Not very many of these sets were made, somewhere around 500 according to Drake.
