The two 3-500z final tubes will probably be packed separately when shipping this unit. The power cord has been added to by original owner for a longer reach. Overall, a very good amplifier - but heavy. Unfortunately I do not have a 2kw meter to fully check the high end output but suspect it should fine.

The amplifier, a Heathkit SB-221, is in great shape physically and electrically. I cleaned the contacts of relay with exit d5 to ensure trouble free operation.

Wow, here is a really nice working linear amplifier from the ham station of recently deceased operator. I put some new heat shrink tubing over the wires. With only about watts into the linear I pegged power meter at greater than 300.

If you are looking for a full 2kw pep Sb amplifier this would be the one that I recommend. I set up a yeas ft890 to drive it and checked all bands. The amplifier controls worked fine and overall operation is easy safe.
