Review HALLICRAFTERS Sky Champion Short wave Communications Receiver

Checked the alignment and it is right on. Comes with a manual and the original advertising. This is virtually brand new. This receiver has an RF stage, so is a sensitive as the new ones.

Original paint and no scratches - brand new. All capacitors have been changed with brand new. One of the if transformers was damaged and I changed it with another. The bottom plate was lost, and I used one which fits exactly.

It is I checked all the tubes and they are fine. This has a single knob tuning which is planetary dial. The dial goes to 44 MHz. New electrolytic capacitor.

The dial is silver and it reads fine. Buy a perfect receiver that is 80 years old. 6k7 RF sate, 6l7 first detector, 6j5 high frequency oscillator, if stage, 6q7 second 6f6 audio, bf and 80 rectifier. No string - just gear drive.
