In my Racal files, I have a schematic for the module that seems to correspond to the particulars of this unit and I will include it when shipping the module to assist with installation. The prior owner had obtained it with the intention of installing it in his ra6790 Gm receiver can also be installed in the ra6793.
This is an a1 rf amplifier lpf low pass filter module as obtained with a grouping of Racal spare parts.
This a08076 module was standard issue with the RA1792 and no doubt came from that unit at some point in time. Such an installation offers nice advantages as it will boost the rf gain in the 6790 Gm by about db.
In the premium Rx group in 2003, there was some discussion about installing this amplifier and the benefits of such a project.
I am not familiar with what is fully required for the installation, but it may be somewhat involved if your receiver does not have the proper input hole on the rear panel necessitating drilling the panel for attachment.
