The coaxial cables from the Vector socket are routed through existing opening in rear of cabinet and connected to MAGNUM SIX. Since, these harmonics all lie outside the 455 khz frequency of mechanical band pass filter and are cleanly removed. It requires no permanent modification to the equipment. The Magnum Six amplifies this DSB signal and routed through a Collins 2.1 khz mechanical band pass filter, which becomes single side band SSB signal, with characteristics similar to the original equipment.
