The dial pointer light and reduction drive for tuning made it a pleasure to use and look at. Note this is a tube type device with high voltage s on internal components. The kit builder did a very nice job assembling this unit that has certainly stood the test of time. The inclusion of a token transistor was a neat marketing gimmick to give the impression that these were state of the art kits, though the wonderful sound quality is all tube.
