I have the 275, 375, 475, and 575 all of them had the back lights go out after a couple of years of operation. The reason i'm selling this and other radios is that I purchased a new rig that has hf, vhf, and uhf to make room for other projects. The only issue is that the LCD meter back light went out several years ago. This is a normal issue for this series of Icom radios.
If you are looking for a great all mode uhf rig, this is the one. I have had this since new. This radio has the built in power supply.
Icom ic 475a uhf all mode transceiver in excellent condition. As you can see in the picture, there is no problem seeing the LCD numbers.
It has never been mobile, and was in a non smoking, non pet environment.
