Details:

The drop in charger works, but cannot charge this battery without taking it off unit. The head can be mounted to unit or removed from and used with attached cord as pictured. This is a great radio, and they don't make them like anymore. With its alphanumeric display and removable display, really unique.

It is in above average condition. New batteries for this unit are only 25 on. Everything has been tested on my service monitor and makes rated specs for frequency, sensitivity power. The battery is fairly weak and cracked on side but works.
