I have used and taken care of these radios for the past 3 years after acquiring them from the original owner whose call sign and name is engraved in the radio.
8 MHz is untested. The radio also works on Sb, cw, and am.
Expect to receive three boxes. Pep power output in watts with my dummy load and crude watt meter as follows MHz I am selling my beloved Drake station because I just don't have the space for vintage equipment in my ham shack and would like to purchase a newer, smaller transceiver. 1 MHz when I first acquired the radios and power supply, I had them tested by a local expert and it was working just fine from the get go, despite the fact that all pieces of equipment were sitting unused for at least 10 years. It now works fine and is set for bias at 0.
To my knowledge, he never smoked the radio doesn't smell like he did, anyway and nor did. The power supply had an electrolytic capacitor changed after one blew out about a year ago. I have also added crystals to the receiver and transmitter for 17 meters. Sorry ms 4 speaker and case is not included.
Please be advised that this is vintage equipment and that I am taking significant risk by assuming that you know how to use it. 1 MHz there are also crystals for 160 meters installed.
Kindly read the manual before testing and going on the air full cost of shipping for the individual piece of equipment that was charged to you for its return.
Because I am shipping in three separate boxes, can only estimate the final shipping cost, which will probably be way too low.

This could be normal on 160m but I did not want to damage the unit and blow out anything. I know that the previous owner used this radio exclusively for 160m cw without a problem.
