It appears not to have been used much, I don't think it has ever seen actual field deployment, it looks too nice for that. The radio has 10 pre programmable memories, programmable from the front.

Modulation is narrow band FM or digital sec. Power can be set for 5 watts high or 250mw low.

The user manual explains in detail how to set up the eccm and digital sec mode, or any other operation you might want to set up, like memory frequencies and the like. However, any prc 77 type of battery can be used for this radio, including the bah 386 b cartridge not included that can hold 10 regular cells.

The eccm sequence hop key if you want can be loaded from the front panel, so no key loader or fill gun is needed for this radio to set up the eccm mode. The radio has a 50 ohm NBC output so it can be connected to any resonant antenna system. You can download both the user manual as well as the technical manual for this radio from radio nerds.
