Except for the case deformation, unit shows very little wear. A schematic and parts list is available, as I have the operation maintenance book for complete radio set. The Weston meter is in excellent condition. The only function I can not verify is antenna current transformer and associated Thermopylae.

From a WW ii army air force scr-274-n radio set, this is the BC-442-a antenna relay unit. The antenna relay operates properly when energized with 24 CDC, switching between and rec terminals, grounding terminal is active. It was then connected in series with the antenna to effectively shorten. The missing high voltage vacuum capacitor, c69, was only required if aircraft antenna too long, thereby preventing transmitters from being properly coupled.
