Details:

I just had it on display, and have decided to give a nice, new home. Heck, that's why I bought it.

Actual shipping cost, no fees. Never a handling charge - our shipping department is great.

I didn't test the tubes. I didn't check for bad capacitors - expect to find them. Please ignore the shipping calculator.

Overall, in surprisingly good condition for 70 years old. I didn't do anything to the receiver, except dust it on occasion.

It will save you time and money. Shallow dent in right side chassis, the middle, just below riveted panel.

Very few paint chips and areas where the has worn off. Net weight is 6 pounds, 2 ounces. Part of SCR-274N system serial number I have plenty other project arcs to work on.

Buyer pays actual shipping only. I didn't check the wiring.

I purchased this receiver between 10 and 12 years ago. Top cover - rear see photos.

In other words, do not send money until I have sent you the total amount. I didn't unsold the wires you see attached to rear connectors.

I usually double-box receivers and transmitters, completely surround them with solid foam sheeting.

Tube cover - the right rear snap-slide has vertical portion broken off part you'd push with your finger. Canadian buyers, I can ship via USPS or ups to you.

As always, it will practically be protected from a nuclear blast by layers of cardboard, foam and plastic, etc. Its just a feeling. I do believe the filament wiring was modified for parallel filaments, however did not confirm this.

In all directions for compressible packing materials when selecting a shipping box double-box or even triple-box delicate items use special foam material plus send you photographs of the item before sealing container, your approval costs are frequently less than stated.

See photo wwii military aircraft b-17 b-24 radio receiver ARC-5 series BC-455-A. The rear of top cover was dented on right side, and there is paint loss.

To estimate us.

This is the best receiver I have for sale.

I smoothed out the aluminum at time of purchase - end result is decent.
