Hardly a mark on it, the mic cord does show some wear but no splitting or cracking, non smoker owned, tested for receive on all bands and transmit power checked on a bird 43 on all bands, everything works perfectly as it should.
I personally own an 847 as well so I stacked it up against mine and checked its performance on the air, side by side I can't find any problems or differences. Really clean and nice condition ft 847 that came from an estate that I am helping liquidate.
The estate of this ham included many radios, and some that were even new in the box. As with any piece of electronic equipment its up to the operator to properly install and use the item. All the buttons are nice, very little use and wear on this radio.
Will come with the original box, manual, and hand mic and power cord. The power cable is in good shape, just a really nice daily driver that's seen little use. The only thing that appears to have been done to it is the mars cap mod as it will transmit out of band, otherwise it appears stock inside and out.
