The components are excellent, and the wiring is top notch. The rear panel features four antenna inputs three so 239 jacks and one hi z wire input. The auto tuner on my rig did'nt like the vertical but I think you can load a door frame with the 901. That is if you're fortunate enough to find one.

Output is so MHz and maximum power capacity is 500 watts . Maximum variation in load impedance is 50 ohms in ohms. I used mine with a window from 10 to 160 and it would load up fine. I find the fc 901 easy to tune due to a ham bands switched trappings, good clear Sr and per meters, easier to read than the cross needle type.
It would have been nice to have lighted dials but even in low light are easy to read. The Yaesu fc 901 antenna tuner is designed to work with the ft 901dm and many other Yaesu transceivers. One for Sr and one for power. The frequency range of this tuner is the six amateur bands from 1.

Its now semi retired as I use a stepper on 6 20 so I use it only on 40 and 80 through a butternut vertical. The meter power ranges are 25, 250 and 500 watts .
