Please view the attached pictures as well. I do not have the power cord for this radio, but I clipped a line cord not included onto the power connector contacts to test it. Vintage and rare astro communications lab model 104a telemetry radio receiver with th 273p rf plug inn that covers the 400 thru 550mhz frequency range.
These are the un packaged dimensions. This radio receiver is beautifully constructed with and reflects a lot of pride in workmanship as well as careful consideration of the design. The radio includes atop and bottom covers as well as the originally included alignment tools and spare fuses.
The radio has dirty contacts on some of the switches and potentiates and these will need to have a spritz of DE exit or some other contact cleaner lube, it needs a couple of pilot lamps for the power on indicator and the dial lamp.
Many other frequency range plug ins were made for this radio but this is the only one that I have. I am selling this radio for parts or repairs per protocol since it is an approximately 50 year old radio and due to its age it possibly needs repairs and or alignment.
It is in good overall physical and cosmetic condition when one considers that is over 50 years old high. Well packaged double boxed, the dimensions are x and the approximate weight is 37 lbs.
The winning bidder pays actual fed ex ground shipping charges plus 7. This item is a classic fully transistorized radio receiver manufactured during the latent it is an American made, hand wired radio set.
The radio does operate, I heard a couple of ham radio operators talking to each other at frequency of approximately 450mhz in FM mode.. Also, a couple of the panel meters may need repairs or adjustment.
The radio has 1 small card slot that is not populated.
