Nice unique little vintage mobile, 12-14VDC 50 watt linear amplifier. This unit is being offered as-is, for parts or repair not working. Looks fairly clean for its age. The TX Rx relay did in as expected, heard a high pitch wine guessing HIV switcher transistors working, meter moved to right indicating output but not much, I don't know if was testing tuning it correctly.
Complete with a single 6je6 6lq6 tube, short dc power cables and the TX Rx Pitt plug on back. Only basic testing done: all the switches and controls operate smoothly. Going by the info written on it, I m guessing its a 50 watt or so unit.
I applied 12 vdc the tube did light up, as front power indicator. I don't know much about it other than what you see, a single tube amplifier.
This is part of an estate I acquired. Looks to be 1960s or 1970s vintage. A flat rate of 20.
It is a very cool little unit. With a few watts drive, output into dummy load.
Very cool little thing.
