Has had 'faux' USB-C charging port/circuit removed as Recent does not follow standard Protocols and required a hard-to-find proprietary charger replaced with Power Pole Adapter so it could be seamlessly used 12v Lifepo4 Battery. That's how I've run it since had. Just don't need it any more as my main rig is an Icon 7200. This is a great little unit that fantastic for POTA/SOTA/QRP operations.
I used it for digital modes. Selling a Recent RS-978 QRP HF Transceiver. This unit would work well for field operations, or in a vehicle. Low cost of entry for an HF Rig.
Haven't used it much, but worked well for me.
