Operationally the receiver works beautifully having wonderful sensitivity and no known issues or shortcomings. We recently sold an nrd 505 receiver that is considered very scarce and collectable.

This commercial receiver is designed and operates similar to the consumer counterparts manufactured by jrc using high quality components able withstand rigors of hard use.

Then you tune to the specific frequency within that band quickly using down up buttons or more precisely main tuning knob very clarified. The if filters are 6 khz, 3 and 500 Hz these choices allow you to listen am signals in wider khz or narrow side band then cw.
