I don't have any way to really test this item only 100w class radios in the shack so being sold as is. If I had a legal limit station this would be the ticket. The front has some marks on it, meter as well, and cabinet appears faded. This came from the estate of a friend.
No issues at the 100w power level. In pretty good shape considering its age - would clean up OK I don't like to items too much so you can see the condition received it. Missing one of the knobs on lower slide lever switches, and other has a minor crack.
On a scale of 1-10 i'd give this 7. Looking at some pictures of the inside I have to believe components are worth more than opening bid. Does not include the baling. Wide range tuning system with band selection and a bypass position.
The upper left corner of front is broken, although I have piece so can be repaired easily. The lever switches under tuning knobs seem to switch in extra capacitance extend matching range. Drake was known for its higher performance radio equipment and this is certainly a piece of amateur history.
Drake mn-2700 matching network antenna tuner. Handles high power by looks of it. Based on the information I have about ham from estate believe it works as he was active air. Large meter reads forward power in w ranges and also provides indication of vst.
