As can be seen in the pictures, I did connect the vfo to the gifts 530s radio. If you're looking for a Kenwood vfo 230, this one will not disappoint.

It comes with the original box and packing materials, original manual, the highly sought after connecting cable and a cover that seems to be made of nylon. It looks to be in absolutely great condition.

It seemed to work as described in the vfo 230 manual. Although it looks nearly new, as with all used electronic equipment of this age there is no warranty. Kenwood vfo 230 this vfo was purchased as part of a complete Kenwood gifts 530s station.

I am describing this vfo accurately to the best of my ability.
