At least I like his program better, that's up to you to decide. This transceiver is computer controlled and not like a flex that's computer defined. I used a program that's in the last picture that a fellow ham wrote that's way better than the one on the CD in one of the pictures. Worked wonderful in my shack.
Everything is in the package deal, nothing to buy just hook it up and operate. Rich wa7vgn. First cord in the picture the black one I made up for the relay of my amp. Its called cat and will include a copy on CD for you.
I have actually talked on it on the same band the next day without turning on the computer, it keeps in memory where you were and your settings for the next time you operate. There's a few scratches on the main box and the control head but nothing major.
