Which is great for close in shaft work as it draws so little. Its surprising how far 15mw will go when connected to an outside antenna. Also when it has the battery saver on, it will go weeks on a 12v 5ah alarm battery not included. The antenna is a stubby 1 inch or so thing, the jack is SAM.
Its a cool little radio, just needs some attention, or use it as is through the power jack. It will do 5 watts transmit on vhf, or as little as 15mw that's watts .
This is a unique little handheld radio. This is a well used radio, so sold as is. It also receives uhf Fr's, public safety, etc and unblocked it also comes with a power pigtail so you can connect it to a 12v alarm battery or whatever.
It is modified for extended TX on vhf.
