Details:

7vdc delivering 50 watts on uhf and about 12 amps only Millie watts vhf. It appears the only difficulty is with vhf transmitter and since they use some output module for both uhf, I think that means fine. Therefore, I will only say they power up and offer no warranty. I had thought the pl tones were missing on one of them but testing now shows both to be working fine.

I actually have two of these with the same symptoms. I have tested both units and as far can tell, they milliard output on vhf work find uhf. Unit is being sold for parts or repair only.

As you can see from the photos, unit powers up fine. Interestingly, the radios pull about 10 amps at vhf output was not measurable with a 5 watt slug but nearby receiver hears fine. This radio was listed earlier but I pulled listing because a fellow ham asked some questions that made me want to retest the unit and i'm glad he did. The head to main unit cable is not included, just unit, and microphone.
