Details:

Shows minimal wear and tear looks great. The right edge of front panel plastic window got cracked, but this has zero impact on its use. Super easy to program, no software needed. No layered menus.

Output on uhf MHz is 40w ssb, 30w fm cw. Solid broadcast audio. It has one flaw that you can see in the close up. Like a good wine, it is finely aged and rare gem that will delight you can still be serviced if ever needed.

Output level low is 6 watts . Other features include: if shift, 9600 baud packet ready, AF speech compression, noise blanker, REIT and cw semi-breaking side tone. If you are looking here probably know all about it.

I hate parting with what is my favorite rig but just don't do vhf uhf from home any more. It has served me wonderfully for many years in all these roles. But also works as a first class rig for good old fashioned ssb weak signal, fm repeaters and simplex.

A year ago it was combed through by an Icom tech and everything is in perfect working order. One of finest and most innovative rigs made by Icom. But in case you don't its a 2m 440 radio that puts out about 45 watts on and 35 440, ssb, fm cw. This is not an antique or boat anchor.

It was made specifically for satellite use and is still a terrific rig that application. Comes with original manual and an Icom HM-14 hand mike that is not. Never looked for a replacement piece of plastic but can probably be found with little effort. This is one of the most unique rigs ever made by Icom.

No warranty as with all shipped and used electronic equipment.
