The radio was hooked up to a butternut vertical antenna and receives just fine. It is just in the picture to demonstrate Heathkit hw 32a being powered up.
As far transmitting I have no microphone that works and manual on how to tune it up for transmit. The rig comes with an original Heathkit microphone. Maybe a radio tech or amateur operator has the knowledge toting up whatever needs to be done trip trans mutter. No manual included with the Heathkit HW-32A.
Also their is no plastic covering the dial. May need to be lightly serviced get back in very good operating condition.

Their are 2 extra light bulbs for the dial lights taped to top part of frame. The signal meter works as does all switches an controls. As far I can tell the tubes are Millard, cant see final output they enclosed and you filaments lit up photos.
