As you can see from the rear photo, it does not have optional pre-selector installed. This can be corrected by replacing the display module for that one digit. This is a used, fully operational WJ 8711A/HF1000. It also does not have the internal speaker option installed.
The reason that both model numbers are included is the cabinet labelled as a WJ 8711A but internal ROM set for HF10 which means widest delectable band width 8 KHz. The only known issue is a missing segment at the top of 7th tuning digit see photo showing lighted display. In the photo,s meter is reading signal from a local broadcast station. The radio is very sensitive.
