The DX2517 Galaxy is a mid-range 2.5D gaming PC that offers a decent balance of performance and affordability. Here are some pros and cons to consider:
Pros:1. Powerful Processor: The DX2517 Galaxy is equipped with an Intel Core i5-9400F 6-Core Processor, which is capable of handling most modern games at medium to high settings.
2. Good Graphics Card: The NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 Super 4GB GDDR6 graphics card provides decent graphics performance for 1080p gaming.
3. Affordable Price: Compared to other gaming PCs in its price range, the DX2517 Galaxy offers good value for money.
4. Spacious Storage: The PC comes with a 512GB NVMe SSD and a 1TB 7200RPM HDD, providing ample storage space for games, files, and media.
5. Compact Design: The DX2517 Galaxy has a compact and sleek design, making it easy to place in a small space without taking up too much room.
Cons:1. Limited RAM: The PC only comes with 8GB of RAM, which may not be enough for some demanding games or applications that require more memory.
2. Lack of Upgradeability: The DX2517 Galaxy has a non-removable side panel, making it difficult to upgrade components such as the RAM or graphics card in the future.
3. Poor Cooling: Some users have reported that the PC runs hot and loud, which may be a concern for those who prefer quieter operation.
4. Lack of Customization: The DX2517 Galaxy is a pre-built PC, so users cannot customize the components to their specific needs or preferences.
Conclusion:The DX2517 Galaxy is a good option for budget-conscious gamers who are looking for a mid-range gaming PC with decent performance. However, users should be aware of its limitations, such as the lack of upgradeability and potential overheating issues. If you are comfortable with these trade-offs, the DX2517 Galaxy could be a good choice for your gaming needs.
Recommendation:If you are looking for a more powerful gaming PC with more upgradeability options, I would recommend considering a custom-built PC or a higher-end pre-built gaming PC with more RAM and a superior cooling system. However, if you are on a tight budget and are looking for a decent mid-range gaming PC, the DX2517 Galaxy could be a good option to consider.
I used a turner super sidekick, great mic for Sb operation. I currently use it on my base right now but am switching over to a cobra 2000 GL in the near future. It is set to dead key at 2 watts and swing watts on am on Sb freq range is as you see in the pictures 25 MHz to 28 MHz with full 11 meters.
Cosmetically its in great shape and looks near new. I'm sorry but there is no mic but worked great with a power mic. I really hate to part with her but can only talk on one radio at a time. This radio is fully functional and works as it should.
