Details:

The dial drum drive cord has been restrung. However, there are some paper capacitors in the circuit that combine capacitance and series inductance. The original muting scheme called for b to be interrupted mute receiver and thus appeared on screw terminals power supply rear panel.

This receiver includes a Gonset power supply. Its condition is unknown. Both dial lamps have been replaced. This was removed and the b routed directly to receiver.

The power supply has had selenium rectifiers replaced with 1n4007 diodes and original filter capacitors restaffed new electrolytic. 5 u volts for 12 db Sinbad 21. An ac power cord with the expensive and hard-to-find cinch-Jones connector is supplied. The dial drive vernier has been replaced with a good used one.

The vibrator dc circuitry has been disabled. This was done for safety reasons.

The buffer capacitor has been removed. The controls and switches have been cleaned. This particular receiver is a late production model and has an engineering change to the first if which not documented in available manuals.

The paper capacitors have been replaced and a minimal RF alignment carried out. The receiver sensitivity was measured as follows: 3800 khz 7 u volts for 12 db Sinbad 7200 14.
