The 100kc and 25kc calibrators do work. Its primarily designed for amateur band listening from 160m to 10m but will also tune a little beyond on some bands.

The tubes test fine and it receives on cw, Sb, am. It includes an original manual and matching speaker. I've tested it on multiple bands and all functions are working.

This is the companion receiver to frdx-400 transmitter. Due to age I cannot guarantee operation after shipping. It'll be insured for full value but ups will only pay out physical damage, not function, on vintage electronics. For sale is a vintage Yaesu FRDX-400 amateur radio receiver.

I'm listening on it currently. It was recently used in the am rally with a heath kit dx-60a transmitter during operating event. Its completely capable of stand alone receive operation or paired with other brand model transmitters.
