Ac operation of the receiver is virtually universal as it can be utilized with voltage s vac. What makes the EK47 so special is that it a double conversion early solid state unit capable of tuning from 10 khz in long wave band up to 30,000. During testing we did not notice any shortcomings or issues with this receiver which is surprising given its age.

However, this should not be so surprising as the rohde Schwarz name means quality and unit is a solid brick of weighing nearly 70 lbs. This was advanced state-of-the-art manufacturing in 1969 when the receiver introduced to market. Thus covering the long wave, medium wave, and hf shortwave bands.

While we were unable to locate an English user manual, the receiver is easy operate without manual and intuitive.
