Standard radio of japan made the c65 they also sold version of it to other companies where it became the Drake ssr 1, the lowe srx 30 and 30d and also the century c21 this one is from the UK and has UK power needs. Some technical info copies from related sets is included for reference. Which is what I used.

The RF gain works bu by design, only on the low impedance input, not on the whip, the pre selector, mode, clarify, tuning all worked. Since I was on dc, I don't know about the lights, or even of the ac works. A cleaning of the pots would always be helpful although not mandatory.

I haven't used this set in many years, I did some testing but not complete. I tuned into the 31mb and got stations with good reception. Fortunately it does take a 12 volt ac adapter. This is a special radio that had a special place in my collection it was part of the relatives collection.
