The first way to install the adapter shaft on the arc 5 receiver is to remove it's front panel. This requires drilling off four small aluminum rivets, two on each lower side and four on the front middle and taking out nine screws around the rim of the front panel and ten on the front itself. Just slip onto your arc 5 tuning capacitor shaft, tighten the setscrews with the included wrench, and add the knob of your choice.
