Details:

The controls all turn as they should. This is one of a number of vintage tube radios that I have sold starting last Fall and Winter to happy enthusiasts. I did pickup some short wave but it was intermittent and tricky. This is a scarce, early 1935 RCA ACR-136 communications receiver.

As photos show these is in very good physical condition with just a bit of surface rust on small areas cabinet. Also included is a copy of the operating and service manual downloaded printed from the internet. Insides look clean. They all were from the estate of a ham enthusiast who rebuilt communication receivers over years along with many other tube type radios.

Although this set is clearly working as shown in the videos, I am repeating that listing it for parts and restoration since can't be sure HAM technician completed restoration. This is a large heavy set that would qualify as boat anchor weighing about 45 pounds before packing. I don't know how much of the set was recapped. I have the capacitors in baggie, included that were replaced by previous ham owner.

Please look closely at all photos as they are an integral part of. Short wave was very tricky and difficult for me to tune but this set Haas lot of knobs controls. Packed set will weigh about 53 pounds. It is a 7 tube, 3-band AM and two SW bands set with built in speaker in metal cabinet.

He also replaced the original darkened phenol dial original included with an excellent reproduction from Radio Daze. I m sure I don't have to tell anyone familiar with these receivers that they are a HEAVY beast.
