Vintage decade box, Bakelite top, all resistances are wire wound. This box uses 10 identical resistors for each section making it real handy and easier to use than the usual type.
Great collectable that you can still use as test equipment. This is a very accurate resistance standard, from my testing it measured close to expected values on all ranges, more importantly the steps were uniform in size as I checked them.
The very top 1000 ohm resistor has been replaced with one that was test selected to be close in value, you can see it interior view if look.
