Suppression of the carrier and unwanted side band in Sb mode is accomplished with a combination crystal filtering phasing circuitry, resulting out-standing long term stability, making it unnecessary to keep constant check as other types equipment. Normal factory units are shipped with 10 meter coverage of 28. The GSB-100 uses a 6dq5 power amplifier capable of producing 100 watts pep input. Automatic voice-operate transmit-receive switching is provided for Sb, pm, and am, with full range CFO frequency control.

The output frequency is Trident from a stable variable-frequency oscillator operating 5. In addition, the unit may be used for cw, pm, and am modes of transmission.
