At one time during production this location had a spring and dial cord assembly instead of stretched belt. Just a bit of history. The o-rings drive belts I have been selling for over ten years are sized to adequately turn with pulleys W/O exerting too much stress on rotating components. See one picture showing locations.

These are made of high quality nitrite rubber which has been used in replacements for many years now. That started causing bearing problems in the loading capacitor because belt was stretched too much which resulted force on bearings. Six o-rings total, one set for now and as a spare.
