Other than some paint flaked off the top, it is in very good condition and complete. I have researched this particular unit, and could not find much, as there weren't many produced.

This offer is for one rare early Collins vhf transmitter type 17l It comes in the original box from Allen aircraft radio. Couldn't even find a picture, not even the Collins museum. This unit was mfg for the air force, but used primarily by the us navy.

Tube compliment is 832a, 6v6gt 2, 12au7, 5654 7, 6ak6 I will look for proper cable connectors for this unit, and if I have some that work, will include it in the offer. Shipping weight 27 lbs.
